This page is narrower than the one for her, and honestly so: fewer small presents are made with men in mind, and the ones that are cluster on two shelves. Keyrings first, because a keyring is the only present that leaves the house every morning without anybody deciding to take it. Then the pocket shelf: card multitools, bottle openers, a torch that lives on the same ring as the front door key. The rest is desk pieces and the odd candle, and those are a different sort of present altogether.

One thing to settle before ordering, because it catches people every year: a card multitool with a blade in it is not hand luggage, however flat the card is. If the present is going in a suitcase that is fine, and if it is going in a coat for a flight it is not. The second thing is weight. A keyring you cannot feel in a pocket gets kept; one that swings against a leg with four keys behind it comes off the ring by February, and the charm ends up in a drawer.
