Jewelry, bath minis and candles hold most of this page between them, and they fail in three different ways. A plated chain fails at the plating: a coat measured in microns over brass or steel, worn in a shower every day, goes through in a season. A hand cream fails at the size, because a one-ounce tube is a handbag present and a boxed trio is a dressing-table one. A candle fails at the burn time, and a two-ounce tin is six evenings rather than the sixty a big jar promises and never delivers.
