Mini gift boxes

A box does two things to a small present. It makes it look finished, which matters when the thing inside is two inches across, and it holds the card, which is often the part being given. That is why so much of what sits here costs a few dollars more than the same object without a lid: the box is not packaging, it is half the present. The other half of the page is empty boxes, and they are bought for the opposite reason: you already have the present and you need twenty lids. Four-inch kraft squares come by the ten and by the fifty, and the useful number is the inside measurement rather than the outside one, because a box described as four inches will not take a four-inch object. Allow half an inch, more if there is tissue going in with it.
